Software Developer C# .NET

Overview

Join the IT team at Berufsgenossenschaft Holz und Metall as a Software Developer focusing on developing and designing modern .NET desktop software solutions. You'll be involved in maintaining and enhancing cross-departmental business processes through high-quality software development.

Key Tasks

• Develop and design modern desktop applications using .NET technologies.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of integrated business processes.
• Conduct code reviews and surface tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Analyze error messages and coordinate troubleshooting efforts.
• Create and update clear product and operational documentation to maintain a transparent and secure IT environment.
• Participate or lead cross-functional projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed relevant higher education (Bachelor, FH diploma) or equivalent expertise through IT-related training such as IT specialist, IT system electronics technician, or IT system management professionals.
• Proficient in C# with the .NET Framework; Java knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with WPF and .NET 4.8 or newer is desired.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Capability to work conceptually and analytically.
• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level according to the CEFR).
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
