About the Program
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a flagship government initiative dedicated to skill development for rural youth. Its objective is to equip young individuals with skills that are relevant to industries, boosting their employment prospects and promoting sustainable career opportunities.
About the Role
Kancherla Foundation Eluru is seeking a committed Soft Skills Trainer to join their DDU-GKY program team. The trainer will play a key role in equipping students with employability skills, enhancing their workplace preparedness and boosting their professional confidence, enabling career success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions covering Soft Skills, Personality Development, Workplace Etiquette, Communication, Teamwork, and Professional Ethics.
- Conduct trainings on resume creation, interview techniques, group discussions, mock interviews, and presentation skills to improve student employability.
- Monitor student progress, offer mentoring, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate training documentation in line with DDU-GKY standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any subject, ideally in English, Arts, Communication, or related fields.
- Certifications or diplomas in Soft Skills, Communication, or Training are advantageous.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in soft skills or employability training preferred; however, freshers demonstrating strong communication and presentation abilities are welcome to apply.
- Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Telugu is a plus.
- Effective presentation, facilitation, and classroom management competencies.
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and youth empowerment.
