About the Role

As a Soft Play Team Member at Mitchells & Butlers in Grimsby, your main focus will be to ensure children enjoy a safe, engaging, and joyful experience in the soft play area. You'll be integral in promoting a lively yet secure environment while delivering excellent service to parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure and enjoyable soft play space, keeping safety and fun as top priorities
• Supervise play, ensuring children are safe at all times
• Create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all guests
• Handle parent and guest queries regarding products, services, and facilities with a warm demeanor
• Respond to enquiries by telephone, doing your utmost to fulfil requests
• Manage the cleanliness of play and reception areas, always ready for guests
• Contribute to special events, such as children's birthday parties, by leading activities and facilitating enjoyment
• Engage in creative activities like face painting and balloon modeling
• Sell food and beverages to visitors as needed

Requirements

• Keen interest in working with children and providing a positive play experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Sense of humour, reliability, and ability to adapt your approach to various situations
• Capable of managing large groups and contributing constructively within a team
• Ability to suggest ideas that improve service or promote sales
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as a condition of employment
