Role Overview
We are looking for an onsite part-time Social Media Manager to join our team in Widnes. This role entails managing day-to-day social media operations including content creation, scheduling, engagement monitoring, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. You will develop strategic content plans to highlight our projects, company developments, safety efforts, and community involvement, optimizing reach and interaction on all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across all company social media channels.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages to enhance audience interaction.
- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate directly with site and office teams to collect project updates, images, and stories.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare regular progress reports.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in managing social media marketing and optimization across leading platforms.
- Strong writing and communication skills to produce clear and engaging content.
- Ability to design and implement effective content strategies aligned with company goals.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure, report, and enhance social media performance.
- Prior experience working within construction, engineering, or related sectors preferred.
- Capability to work independently, manage deadlines, and tailor content for various audiences.
- Comfortable working on-site alongside construction and office teams in a dynamic environment.
- Educational background in marketing, communications, digital media or related fields is advantageous.
