Job description
Role Overview
As a Shift Lead at B&Q Margate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work and shopping environment. Working 36.75 hours per week on a permanent contract, this keyholder position involves managing shifts that start as early as 6am and finish as late as 9pm. You will be essential in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operational flow in the store.
Responsibilities
- Manage store operations as the central figure during your shift, keeping everything running seamlessly.
- Effectively allocate colleagues throughout your shift to maximize customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Serve as the first point of contact for both customers and team members, addressing queries and supporting the team.
- Ensure the store complies with all safety regulations and remains secure at all times.
