Service Engineer

Job Overview

Join Vijaya Management Services as a Service Engineer responsible for inspecting, repairing, configuring, and maintaining electronic systems. This role involves close coordination with sales and store teams, handling customer service requests, and traveling across India for site visits, installations, and training sessions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and update the repair status of systems received.
• Conduct PCB-level repairs and prepare detailed service reports.
• Coordinate with sales, order processing, and stores departments for follow-ups on repair offers.
• Respond promptly to customer failure and service calls.
• Process warranty claims and undertake site visits for system installation, commissioning, and failure analysis.
• Configure and prepare new systems for customer orders, including modifying files and maintaining backups of software configurations.
• Visit customer sites to understand technical requirements and machine controls.
• Train customer operators and conduct service training sessions on site.
• Report daily activities to the Service Manager.
• Travel extensively across India to fulfill job responsibilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics, E&TC, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in table repairs, site repairs, installation, and commissioning.
• Sound knowledge of electronics and electrical circuit diagrams and terminology.
• Hands-on experience in PCB-level repairs is essential.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment is a plus.
• Effective oral, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi languages.
• Advanced computer skills including email, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Preferred male candidates due to extensive travel and site visit requirements.

Additional Information

The job location is Pune, Maharashtra, and involves extensive travel across India. Coordination across multiple internal teams and direct customer engagement are key to this role.

Salary and Benefits

The monthly remuneration ranges between 25,000 to 40,000 INR.
