About the Role

As part of this inspiring environment, you will lead security operations across Australia, New Zealand, and broader Oceania, ensuring comprehensive safety and risk management for various business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct security activities across Disney's businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
- Design and execute security strategies, conduct risk assessments, and develop crisis management plans.
- Handle security incidents and emergencies with effective response protocols.
- Plan and supervise security measures for productions, corporate events, activations, and workplace safety.
- Continuously monitor emerging security and geopolitical threats to provide specialized advice to leadership.
- Forge and maintain partnerships with law enforcement, government bodies, industry collaborators, and security service providers.
- Lead regional initiatives encompassing emergency preparedness, disaster responses, and security awareness training.
- Drive advancements in security technology, access control systems, investigative processes, and protective services.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Disney Studios Australia security team.
- Serve as a security consultant to senior management.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Bring at least eight years of experience in corporate, government, military, law enforcement, intelligence, or similar security environments.
- Have proven experience managing extensive security programs across various locations.
- Exhibit deep knowledge in risk management, investigations, crisis handling, and incident response.
- Understand Australian and New Zealand Work Health & Safety regulations.
- Hold relevant industry certifications (preferred).
