About the Role
A partner company is looking to employ a Senior Recruiter based in the United States. This position offers a fully remote work environment and highlights a crucial role in leading recruitment efforts in the defense sector. The Senior Recruiter will handle full-cycle hiring for cleared civilian, military, and technical talent engaged in defense programs nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and military personnel cleared for defense-related roles across the U.S.
- Source and engage qualified candidates while developing pipelines for niche and sensitive positions.
- Organize interview schedules, candidate communications, leadership meetings, and hiring logistics to ensure smooth recruitment operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align hiring strategies, staffing plans, and recruitment priorities across various programs.
- Maintain precise records of staffing actions, onboarding documents, and recruitment metrics.
- Ensure all hiring procedures comply with security clearance requirements and personnel policies.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance recruitment workflows and operational efficiency.
- Handle confidential personnel information with utmost professionalism and attention to detail.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or relevant discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience recruiting or sourcing cleared civilians, military personnel, or Department of Defense staff.
- Background in supporting U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense, or similar joint military organizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of military personnel processes, security clearance protocols, administrative procedures, and workforce operations.
- Demonstrated success managing recruitment for highly specialized and security-sensitive positions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment management software.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks accurately in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience providing recruitment support to senior military or civilian leaders is a plus.
- Preference for candidates with recruiting background at Hanscom Air Force Base.
- Active or former U.S. Secret Security Clearance considered advantageous.
