Role Overview
As a Senior Creative Strategist, you will lead the creative strategy for Enterprise B2B campaigns, especially for Amazon Web Services (AWS), translating complex business priorities into clear, insight-led creative direction across various digital platforms like paid social, display, and video. You will mentor and manage the creative strategy team, fostering collaboration and high-quality output, while ensuring creative excellence at scale with the use of AI-enabled workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative strategy for AWS enterprise B2B campaigns, developing scalable concepts targeting technical and executive audiences aligned with business goals.
- Manage and coach the Creative Strategy team to maintain high standards and elevate creative thinking.
- Craft and refine creative briefs to guide design, motion, video, and copy teams, ensuring alignment with AWS brand standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content strategists, designers, motion artists, and production to deliver integrated campaigns across the customer journey.
- Implement testing frameworks for messaging and creative based on audience performance data, iterating strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee creative quality and consistency across multiple formats, languages, and markets using efficient production methodologies.
- Represent creative strategy in client meetings, presenting strategic insights and building trusted client relationships while managing feedback.
- Continuously explore new opportunities for creative innovation considering industry trends and AWS brand requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in creative strategy, preferably with B2B, enterprise technology, SaaS, or cloud-focused accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling creative briefs and translate audience data into actionable creative direction.
- Experience managing or mentoring creative strategists and elevating team performance.
- Comfort with high-volume production environments and strong quality control; familiarity with production workflows is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of paid social and display advertising platforms including LinkedIn, Meta, and DV360, along with their formatting requirements.
- Proven experience in presenting creative recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Understanding of B2B technical buyer personas such as developers, IT decision-makers, and enterprise executives.
- Ability to work within strict brand guidelines without reliance on AI-generated talent or media.
- Bonus: Prior involvement with cloud brands like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
