Role Overview

The Senior Buyer position is a full-time onsite role located in Dubai. The incumbent will oversee comprehensive purchasing operations within Denaster’s distribution framework. Key tasks involve sourcing and assessing suppliers, negotiating prices and contractual terms, and procuring products on schedule that adhere to quality and regulatory requirements. The role demands analysis of sales and inventory data to maintain optimal stock levels, management of purchase orders, and coordination with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure smooth delivery.

In addition, the Senior Buyer will work closely with sales and marketing teams to synchronize procurement decisions with evolving market trends. Reporting on supplier efficiency and cost metrics and driving enhancements in procurement processes are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Proven track record in procurement, purchasing, or buying roles within distribution, FMCG, or retail industries.
• Expertise in vendor identification, evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret market trends, sales figures, and inventory data to guide purchasing choices.
• Proficient in ERP or procurement software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Experience with GCC markets and knowledge of regional regulatory and customs landscape is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related discipline; professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are desirable.
