Role Overview

The Scrum Master at Fintex will be pivotal in promoting agile mastery and supporting high-efficiency teams to deliver cutting-edge digital applications in the wealth and asset management domain. This role acts as a key facilitator for cooperation among business stakeholders, product teams, and technical developers while championing continuous enhancement and consistent delivery of value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead agile activities such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos to enhance team focus and cohesion.
• Advocate and mentor teams and stakeholders on agile practices, promoting continuous growth and agility.
• Detect and eliminate blockers that slow down project progress, taking proactive measures to ensure smooth delivery.
• Encourage effective teamwork among cross-functional groups, ensuring transparent communication and alignment across business, design, and tech teams.
• Monitor and report on team performance metrics including sprint status and velocity to maintain openness and support data-driven choices.
• Support various business functions as needed within a rapidly expanding company environment.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in wealth management or financial services sectors is mandatory.
• Comprehensive knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban; certifications like CSM or PSM are advantageous.
• Keen interest in technology with the ability to grasp how digital innovations influence conventional financial workflows.
• Practical experience managing agile teams working on complex fintech or wealth management technologies.
• Strong communication and dispute resolution skills, along with a history of fostering productive and collaborative teams.
