About the Role
Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a full-time Scrum Master to join their team remotely. This position focuses on guiding an agile scrum team to efficiently meet business and technical goals. The Scrum Master will facilitate agile ceremonies, promote delivery predictability, and eliminate obstacles that might hinder progress. This role centers on enabling team execution and agile practices rather than hands-on implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other essential agile events.
- Detect, resolve, or escalate any impediments or dependencies impacting team performance.
- Coach scrum teams, product partners, and stakeholders on agile principles, team norms, and effective delivery methods.
- Enhance sprint predictability, improve estimation accuracy, prepare backlog readiness, and ensure commitment follow-through.
- Translate retrospective feedback into actionable improvements and monitor their execution.
- Maintain transparency regarding risks, dependencies, team capacity, scope modifications, and progress updates.
- Shield the team from distractions to help maintain focus on committed objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and maintain steady delivery progress.
- Work alongside engineering and product leadership to elevate delivery discipline, team well-being, and agile maturity.
Required Qualifications
- Practical experience as a Scrum Master supporting agile software delivery teams.
- Strong skills in facilitation, coaching, stakeholder communication, and resolving conflicts.
- Proven ability to enhance team performance, delivery consistency, and agile maturity over time.
- Capacity to rapidly identify and address blockers with minimal oversight in ambiguous situations.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles and enough technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience leveraging delivery metrics and operational feedback to detect problems and improve team outputs.
- Ability to coordinate efforts across product, engineering, and partner teams within shared delivery contexts.
- Excellent communication skills supporting cross-team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background working with teams creating products for small businesses or within financial services, payments, or regulated domains.
- Experience coaching multi-disciplinary product and engineering teams in shared environments.
- Skill in scaling agile practices beyond single scrum teams.
- Familiarity with agile project tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.
- Certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Knowledge of cloud or platform delivery frameworks aiding technical dependency and team coordination.

- Removal of impediments that hinder workflow ensuring consistent progress.
- Advancement of collaboration, transparency, and accountability during ceremonies and day-to-day tasks.
