Role Overview

This full-time position based in Harare entails supervising the sales team to boost revenue. Responsibilities encompass managing sales personnel, establishing and tracking sales targets, offering mentorship and feedback, ensuring superior customer service, managing escalated concerns, and upholding service excellence. The role also includes analyzing sales metrics, crafting reports, collaborating with management on sales strategies and campaigns, as well as training newcomers, handling staff scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication capabilities to connect with clients, address issues effectively, and foster long-term relationships.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills to inspire and manage a productive sales force.
  • Strong analytical aptitude to interpret sales data and spot market trends to support strategic decisions.
  • Previous sales supervisory or leadership experience preferably in car rental, hospitality, or similar service sectors.
  • On-site availability in Harare with adaptability to accommodate peak operational periods.
  • Competence in standard office software and familiarity with point-of-sale or reservation systems.
  • Academic credentials such as a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related disciplines are preferred.
  • Understanding of Zimbabwe's local market and tourism industry is an added benefit.
