Sales Operations Coordinator

About the Role

A beauty industry client based in the New York City metropolitan area is seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to operate primarily onsite with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and process purchase orders for designated retail accounts accurately.
• Scrutinize order details including quantities, prices, delivery timelines, and product assortments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, and Customer Operations teams to facilitate inventory oversight and streamline order fulfillment.
• Keep an active watch on inventory positions, update order progress, and communicate potential challenges or delays proactively.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive reports including retailer insights, inventory tracking sheets, sales data, and customer assortment records.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or allied disciplines is preferred.
• Experience in retail planning within the beauty or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and SUMIF.
• Familiarity with Tableau is an added benefit.
• Aptitude for quickly learning new procedures and concepts.
• Excellent organizational and communication capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through in task completion.

Compensation and Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. Note that this range reflects the current estimated compensation for this role at the stated location and may be adjusted depending on candidate qualifications. Additional compensation elements such as incentive pay, discretionary bonuses, and benefits may be offered.
