Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the automobile sales team to meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Formulate and execute effective sales strategies aimed at boosting vehicle sales and enhancing dealership profitability.
- Track daily sales outcomes, progress of lead conversions, and follow-ups with customers to ensure targets are met.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with individual customers, corporate clients, and key partners.
- Guide the sales team during customer interactions, including enquiries, vehicle demonstrations, negotiations, and deal finalizations.
- Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor behavior, and customer preferences to uncover new business opportunities.
- Ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the sales process, spanning initial enquiry to delivery of the vehicle.
- Collaborate effectively with finance, insurance, accessories, and registration departments for smooth operational flow.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales executives, continually assessing their performance to boost team productivity.
- Prepare detailed sales forecasts, management information system (MIS) reports, and performance dashboards for senior management review.
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies, manufacturer instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Design and oversee promotional campaigns, customer engagement efforts, and localized marketing activities to generate leads.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA qualification highly preferred.
- Possesses 4 to 8 years of experience in automobile sales, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or team leadership capacity.
- Demonstrates a consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities with proven coaching and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential.
- Possesses a solid understanding of automotive products, dealership processes, finance, insurance, and customer lifecycle management.
- Experienced in using CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and sales reporting applications.
- Displays strong analytical thinking, decision-making ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented, self-driven, and motivated by results.
- Must have a valid driving license and be willing to travel for business development requirements.
