Sales & Design Engineer

About the Role

Be Cool Airconn is looking for a Sales & Design Engineer based in Chennai with 2 to 5 years of experience. The role involves generating sales enquiries and designing HVAC systems for various projects, including VRF, ductable, cassette, and other HVAC systems. The position requires close collaboration with architects, consultants, builders, and clients to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads for VRF, ductable, cassette, and HVAC systems.
• Engage with architects, consultants, building contractors, and corporate clients to foster relationships.
• Design HVAC systems, including preparing heat load calculations, bill of quantities, and detailed quotations.
• Create technical drawings and proposals using AutoCAD software.
• Regularly follow up with customers to finalize sales agreements.
• Coordinate with project execution teams to ensure timely and smooth delivery of projects.
• Achieve established monthly sales targets consistently.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in sales and design within the HVAC/VRF industry.
• Strong understanding of VRF systems, ductable units, cassette air conditioners, AHUs, and ventilation solutions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and capability to perform HVAC load calculations accurately.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Preference for candidates based in Chennai.
