Role Overview

We are inviting enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join the Novotel & Ibis Housekeeping Team as Room Attendants. The position focuses on maintaining guest rooms to impeccable cleanliness and presentation standards ensuring a memorable stay for guests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms to meet hotel standards.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and missing items following established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels of storerooms and housekeeping trolleys.
• Perform deep cleaning assignments when required.
• Adhere to procedures regarding lost property.
• Use amenities, chemicals, and equipment in compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Support other housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Availability to work on a rotating 7-day shift schedule including public holidays.
• Strong attention to detail combined with effective time management skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Full legal work authorization in Australia is essential.
