Retail Store Supervisor

Overview

We are looking for a Retail Store Supervisor to oversee day-to-day store operations in Kenora, Ontario. This is an on-site role, so work must be performed at the physical location with no remote option.

Language Requirement

English is required for this position.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Applicants should have 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Allocate sales staff to their assigned tasks.
• Support staffing needs by hiring new team members or arranging their training.
• Approve merchandise returns when appropriate.
• Handle direct merchandise sales as needed.
• Prepare summaries and reports covering sales results, merchandising activity, and personnel matters.
• Address customer concerns, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely manner.
• Keep inventory organized and up to date.
• Oversee and coordinate the work performed by team members.

Supervision

This role involves supervising 1 to 2 people.
