Role Overview

This role is ideal for an energetic, hands-on individual who thrives in a team-focused environment and enjoys staying active. As a Retail Store Person, you will be a crucial support for daily store operations, working behind the scenes to keep the retail space running efficiently and helping customers with their purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully loading weekly deliveries from trucks and containers.
• Assisting customers during order pickups to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.
• Helping the sales team by moving stock and products onto the shop floor as needed.
• Accurately entering received goods into the store's inventory system.
• Assembling furniture with attention to detail and quality.
• Complying with all occupational health and safety standards.
• Maintaining an organized, safe, and tidy store and warehouse environment.
• Collaborating with team members, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and managing tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse support or distribution roles.
• Basic proficiency with computers, including email and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A strong desire to assist customers and achieve positive outcomes.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks involving lifting and moving various sized products.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Dependable, proactive, motivated, and possessing a positive attitude.
• Capacity to safely perform manual handling duties typical of a furniture store environment.
