Retail Outlet Human Resources Executive

Overview

The Retail Outlet HR Executive is responsible for comprehensive human resource activities tailored to the retail bakery environment. This role encompasses recruitment, employee onboarding, relations, performance tracking, retail operations support, health and safety compliance, and employee engagement to foster an effective and motivated workforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and staffing for various positions including bakers, helpers, cashiers, sales executives, and delivery personnel across bakery outlets.
• Organize walk-in interviews and local hiring events to maintain adequate and skilled staffing levels.
• Oversee onboarding processes including documentation and induction programs for new hires.
• Deliver training focused on customer service excellence, hygiene and food safety, POS system operation, and skill enhancement for bakers and kitchen staff.
• Promote a positive work atmosphere through employee relations efforts and apply disciplinary procedures when necessary.
• Address staff retention challenges by engaging and motivating personnel.
• Monitor employee performance by setting and assessing key performance indicators such as sales goals, customer satisfaction, and productivity; conduct appraisals and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with store managers on manpower planning and effective shift scheduling for baking and retail operations.
• Support the opening of new outlets by managing recruitment and operational setup.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards critical in bakery settings, conducting regular grooming and cleanliness inspections and supporting food safety compliance in line with FSSAI guidelines.
• Organize employee engagement initiatives including team-building activities, festive celebrations, and recognition programs such as Employee of the Month.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation, including employee records and HRMIS data, and prepare reports on attendance, attrition, hiring status; coordinate audits and inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline required; MBA or PGDM in HR is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years HR experience, preferably within the retail sector.

Compensation

Monthly salary ranging between 25000 to 35000 INR.
