Role Overview
Located in Malaga, Western Australia, the Resource Operations Coordinator oversees planning and supervision of operational tasks linked to Oil & Gas sector clients, particularly on Barrow Island. The position involves optimizing waste transfer station processes, managing coordination efforts, and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process run sheets and load plans for the waste transfer station to facilitate month-end billing for the client.
- Serve as a point of consultation and advice to both the Client Contract Owner and Area Owners regarding operational plan execution.
- Foster a strong customer service ethos among team members serving both internal and external stakeholders.
- Align resourcing with projected planning needs to ensure consistent operational coverage.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeted at enhancing business processes and team efficiency.
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze waste management data from multiple inputs to produce required operational reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Operational administration experience, ideally within waste management, oil & gas, or logistics/transportation sectors.
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel and experience with invoicing systems.
- Keen attention to detail and strong project planning expertise.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, exercise visual leadership on safety matters, and support the mentoring of teams.
- Comfortable utilizing enterprise systems such as JDE for reporting and planning.
