About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to perform cleaning services at residential rental units. This includes move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover chores, and preparing properties for listing. Our client offers a comprehensive leasing service powered by proprietary technology aimed at expediting leasing, minimizing vacancy, and thoroughly screening applicants. They manage everything from listing to tenant move-in, syndicating properties across MLS and numerous other platforms.
The ideal candidate is professional, self-motivated, and organized, capable of working independently in the field. They should be adept at using cleaning checklists, documenting progress, and identifying any property issues that might need resolution before listing or move-in.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend cleaning appointments for residential rental properties including move-in/move-out, turnover, and listing-ready cleans
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures
- Remove debris, dust, dirt, garbage, and any extraneous items as necessary
- Wipe down all surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness
- Deep clean appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers where needed
- Identify and report areas needing extra attention such as cleaning, junk removal, repairs, or maintenance
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting cleaning work and property condition
- Provide detailed communication including updates, notes, photos, and videos following each visit
- Engage professionally with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal team members
- Adhere strictly to company guidelines, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment particulars
General Cleaning Tasks
- Move-in and move-out cleaning

- Deep cleaning across various property areas
- Kitchen, bathroom, appliance, floor, dusting, and surface cleaning
- Cleaning cabinets, drawers, window sills, baseboards
- Garbage disposal and minor debris clearance
- Ensuring listing readiness prior to photos, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience as a cleaner, residential cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or similar role
- Strong understanding of residential cleaning standards and practices
- Reliable personal transportation for travelling between properties
- Possession of all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments
- Comfortable managing cleaning tasks autonomously across multiple rental properties
- Possession of an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone with a high-quality camera for photographic documentation
- Capability to take clear photos and videos and write concise notes after each job
- Self-motivated, with minimal supervision required
- Dependable, punctual, detail-savvy, and professional work ethic
- Clear and respectful communication with landlords, tenants, applicants, and internal staff
Preferred Experience
- Previous involvement in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning
- Experience preparing rental properties for listing with photo, showing, or inspection readiness
- Ability to recognize damage, maintenance needs, junk issues, pest problems, access limitations, and safety concerns
- Background in working independently in field roles within property management, leasing, home services, or cleaning industries

Additional Notes
This position focuses predominantly on cleaning and preparing rental properties for listings. Cleaners are expected to proactively identify and report any damages, repair needs, junk removal, pest issues, access problems, or hazardous conditions for prompt follow-up by the appropriate team.
