Position Overview

The Research Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the research team by coordinating activities and assisting Senior Analysts with various research initiatives. Duties encompass report writing, financial modelling, database management, and conducting in-depth fundamental research on companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Analysts on targeted research projects.
• Conduct due diligence, compose research reports, and summarize findings in presentation formats.
• Develop financial models to support analysis.
• Gather and organize data to address client inquiries.
• Maintain and update databases containing economic and industry-specific information.
• Engage in fundamental company research.
• Support client visits by attending and documenting discussions.
• Foster positive working relationships with Corporates, Clients, Government bodies, and industry groups.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, preferably with a focus on Finance or Accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Research Associate or related role; experience in a major accountancy firm is beneficial.
• Proficiency in financial modelling techniques.
• Advanced skills in Excel and spreadsheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with sensitivity to diverse perspectives.
• High commercial awareness and understanding.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
