Based in Hamilton, this position will service the Waikato region as a Residential Registered Valuer. The role centres on preparing high-quality residential valuation reports promptly across a varied asset market, while maintaining strong communication with clients and managing business development opportunities alongside individual annual budget targets.

This is a hands-on operational role with frequent interaction with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

What you will do

You will deliver accurate valuation work, manage client expectations, and support business growth in the residential valuation space. The role also requires consistent collaboration with internal teams and outside stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely outcomes.

What we are looking for

Opteon is seeking a motivated professional with advanced valuation capability, strong client-facing communication, and confidence in business development. A strong commitment to ongoing professional growth is also important.

• Current NZIV registration as a valuer, together with a valid Annual Practising Certificate
• A degree in Business (Property) or an equivalent qualification
• Relevant industry experience
• Existing approval on the Valocity and Cotality Valuation Panels
• Well-developed attention to detail, analytical ability, and report writing skills
• The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a supportive team environment
