Role Overview
Gopuff is hiring a Regional Manager I for its operations organization. This is a high-energy, fast-moving leadership position responsible for guiding locations across the United States. The ideal person is self-driven, entrepreneurial, and ready to take ownership of a territory where outcomes depend on strong execution and effective team leadership.
You will manage a group of General Managers and help ensure every site delivers an outstanding customer experience. The job calls for resilience, urgency, optimism, and a strong bias toward action.
What You’ll Do
- Support local General Managers in day-to-day operations across your territory.
- Coach and grow team members so they can improve performance and step into larger responsibilities.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline through performance management and succession planning.
- Monitor performance across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics, then use those insights to improve customer experience.
- Prepare and manage reporting so headquarters stays closely connected to field execution.
- Act as the connector between rollout teams, local territory operations, and other leadership groups.
- Take part in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding to bring in strong talent.
- Make sure each site is staffed appropriately and future staffing needs are anticipated early.
- Help launch new sites within the territory.
- Serve as a territory-focused leader who remains closely tied to the region.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in retail, supply chain, operations, consulting, or data-led project management.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-location teams.
- Experience running large onboarding programs for high-performing employees.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related area.
- Strong analytical ability and the capacity to motivate others in a deadline-driven setting.
- Proven skill in solving complex problems under pressure.
- Good critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance careful attention to detail with fast execution.
- Willingness to travel at least 90% of the time.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $96,900 to $120,750. Pay is market-based and may vary by location. Starting compensation will depend on role-related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and market conditions. The range may change in the future, and exceptions may be made for exceptional candidates.
This role also qualifies for a discretionary annual cash bonus and participation in the company’s equity incentive plan.
