Role Overview

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our White Collar Recruitment team based in Perth CBD, operating in a comprehensive 360-degree recruitment capacity. The position focuses on the Commercial Construction sector, working with a roster of builders, contractors, and service providers throughout Perth.

This role involves collaboration with our strong white collar team and blue collar recruitment colleagues. With established commercial agreements and contacts, it offers an excellent opportunity to make a swift impact as the busy summer season approaches. The company boasts over 15 years of presence in the WA market, offering a well-known brand and a compelling company narrative.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment processes including onboarding supported by in-house training and recruitment fundamentals.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to form value-driven relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Generate leads effectively without relying on extensive directory use.
  • Manage and update a dynamic candidate database using Bullhorn, an industry-leading CRM platform.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI tools, to reduce administrative tasks and prioritize sales activities.
  • Screen and interview candidates thoroughly to present only top-tier talent to clients.
  • Create compelling job advertisements and manage candidate feedback, including negotiating counter offers and handling objections.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least six months of prior recruitment experience.
  • Highly ambitious with strong motivation to excel.
  • Confident communicator capable of establishing rapport via phone and in-person interactions.
  • Commitment to specializing within a vertical desk and becoming a domain expert.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and familiarity with recruitment CRM systems.
