Job Overview
The Quality Assurance System Analyst role involves implementing and deploying application software tailored to the retail sector, supporting staff through training, and ensuring that regulatory standards and data security protocols are strictly followed. This position emphasizes data analysis for operational improvements, close monitoring of application performance, and the protection of patient confidentiality to align IT initiatives with clinical requirements and enhance healthcare service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing new or customizing current retail applications based on unique operational requirements.
- Provide tier 2 user support, ensuring timely resolution of software bugs within SLA timeframes.
- Analyze end-user requirements and contribute to designing solutions that boost patient care quality and operational efficiency.
- Support deployment of new software and major updates, minimizing business disruption and ensuring system compatibility.
- Partner with external vendors for specialized application support, aligning solutions with end-user needs.
- Continuously monitor application performance to keep pace with the high-demand retail environment and propose enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws and maintain stringent protection of patient data.
- Keep current with advancements in IT and pharmacy technology; explore innovative tools such as telepharmacy, health apps, and AI-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and insurers to align IT solutions with business and healthcare delivery goals.
Work Environment
- Indoor work environment (100%)
- Working 5 days per week, 2 days off
- Working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour break
Job Requirements
- Educational qualification: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, preferably in MIS Systems Design, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in IT application roles, with preference given to candidates experienced in retail or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in store-specific software applications and general retail system environments.
- Hands-on skills in programming languages such as SQL, Java, Python, or .NET.
- Experience with database management systems including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools including Tableau and Power BI.
- Operating systems knowledge, including Windows and Linux.
- Fluent in English and Arabic languages.
