Role Overview
They are looking for a Project Manager / Product Owner who can operate well in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. This role sits within a compact agile team made up of different specialists who work closely together to deliver for a diverse client base. Success in this position depends on maintaining high standards, building trust through delivery, staying strongly focused on client needs, and bringing clear communication, quality ownership, and a practical AI-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project vision, scope, timeline, and budget.
- Partner with stakeholders and clients to shape and sharpen business requirements.
- Keep the delivery team motivated and aligned with project goals and outputs.
- Coordinate with software engineers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other contributors to balance cost, quality, and schedule while refining deliverables.
- Create and maintain project documentation such as requirement specifications, solution proposals, detailed designs, project plans, system impact analysis, and proof of concepts.
- Track progress continuously and prepare structured status reports covering milestones and deliverables.
- Manage the sourcing of resources and materials by coordinating with customers, team members, managers, and internal accounting staff, including negotiation of pricing and payment terms with vendors.
- Apply engineering thinking to technical investigations related to changes in materials, components, processes, specifications, or requirements.
- Support, coach, mentor, train, or assist team members so releases are delivered on time and with strong customer focus and quality.
- Run regular technical team meetings to review progress and resolve questions or issues affecting the project vision and outputs.
- Provide technical advisory support for projects and production system issues.
Requirements
- Strong customer focus and a genuine interest in delivering an excellent user experience.
- Proven experience leading B2B and/or B2C projects.
- Clear, empathetic, and compassionate communication style.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Scrum or another Agile delivery framework.
- Practical use of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Ability to anticipate problems and act early to remove obstacles.
- Comfort handling pressure and solving problems in challenging situations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High personal accountability for decisions and deliverables.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Hands-on experience as an AI practitioner.
- Excellent presentation skills for small and medium audiences over video calls.
- Experience with accounting systems is considered an advantage.
