Job Overview

WSP is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to join their Jeddah office and lead complex infrastructure design and masterplanning projects across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East region. This position is tailored for professionals with extensive experience in overseeing large urban, transport, and infrastructure developments through all phases from concept to detailed delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams managing infrastructure and masterplanning initiatives.
  • Act as the main liaison with clients, government authorities, and important stakeholders.
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, resourcing, and risk management.
  • Coordinate contributions across various sectors including roads, utilities, water management, structures, and public spaces.
  • Ensure projects adhere to regional codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track project progress focusing on quality, performance, and financial results.
  • Assist with bidding processes, proposals, and expanding business prospects.
  • Provide mentorship to team members and enhance the project management expertise within WSP’s Middle East operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Fluency in Arabic language required.
  • Accreditations such as Chartered Engineer or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
  • At least 10 to 15 years of experience handling consultancy projects involving infrastructure, roads, highways, and land development.
  • Demonstrated leadership of diverse infrastructure design teams.
  • Strong track record delivering projects in Saudi Arabia and/or surrounding Middle Eastern countries.
  • Experience navigating Saudi authority approvals and regulatory procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership, client relationship management, and communication capabilities.
  • Preference will be given to those with direct knowledge of Saudi project environments, local authorities, and approval workflows.
