Key Responsibilities

• Oversee application development projects throughout their full lifecycle including planning, requirements gathering, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Facilitate collaboration among developers, designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project progress.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics consistent with organizational objectives.
• Track progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation approaches to keep timelines on track.
• Lead regular meetings, provide clear status updates, and maintain transparent communication across all teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated track record as a Project Manager in application development, software engineering, or related technological fields.
• In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management approaches including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Capability to concurrently manage several projects meeting quality standards, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong leadership qualities to inspire and coordinate diverse cross-functional teams effectively.
• Proficiency with project management platforms such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent organizational, communicative, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience in identifying risks and developing risk management strategies.
• Adeptness at prioritizing tasks, managing shifting requirements, and thriving under pressure.
• Understanding of best practices in software development and technology delivery standards.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities with attention to minute details.
• Prior experience managing distributed or remote teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure and DevOps practices is advantageous.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles, front-end development, database management, and data integration is beneficial.
• Awareness of cybersecurity standards and data protection protocols is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
