Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager for a full-time, on-site position based at Brendale, Queensland. This role is entrusted with overseeing fitout projects from initial planning through to final completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Key responsibilities include creating project timelines, resource allocation, managing subcontractors, supervising site operations, and coordinating logistics to guarantee the punctual arrival of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
• Manage and coordinate resources and subcontractors effectively.
• Oversee all site activities to maintain high standards and adherence to timelines.
• Plan and orchestrate logistics for seamless material and service delivery.
• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor quality, safety compliance, and progress.
• Maintain open communication with clients and provide regular progress reports including risk assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues promptly.
• Keep thorough project documentation and collaborate closely with design, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven project management expertise in planning, scheduling, and overseeing commercial construction or fitout projects.
• Experience in expediting to assure timely delivery of materials and services critical to project success.
• Well-versed in inspection processes to uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards on site.
• Strong logistics management skills for coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and site operations efficiently.
• Extensive experience in commercial fitouts or construction projects within sectors such as hospitality, retail, office, education, or health.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to foster productive client and team relationships.
• Capable of reading and interpreting architectural plans and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with project management and construction software tools, coupled with robust MS Office capabilities.
• Relevant educational background in construction management, project management, engineering, or related fields is highly valued.
• Strong commitment to professionalism, ethical business practices, and continuous advancement of project delivery methods.
