Project Executive - General Construction

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead multiple high-profile, technically sophisticated construction projects within some of the world's fastest expanding industries. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide strategic leadership across multiple large-scale, complex construction projects from inception through completion.
• Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with clients, architects, engineers, developers, and key stakeholders to foster ongoing business growth.
• Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to identify and secure new project opportunities.
• Develop and lead high-performing project teams, encouraging accountability and continuous improvement through coaching and mentorship.
• Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, cost controls, and ensure projects meet profitability goals.
• Lead contract negotiations, develop pricing strategies, manage fees, and assess risk to protect project and company interests.
• Direct the creation and execution of comprehensive master schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
• Implement and maintain stringent Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards to deliver superior project outcomes.
• Promote best-in-class safety practices across all projects to ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, ethical practices, and corporate governance standards.
• Drive adoption and integration of advanced construction technologies including Building Information Modeling (BIM), Lean Construction methods, Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), and digital delivery tools.
• Provide strategic insights during executive reviews, reporting project performance to senior leaders.
• Serve as a company ambassador within industry circles and the community to enhance market reputation.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years progressive experience in commercial construction, demonstrating leadership in large, highly technical projects.
• Proven capability in handling multiple projects simultaneously with full operational and financial accountability.
• Expertise in project planning and execution, including scheduling, estimating, cost control, contract administration, procurement, engineering coordination, financial forecasting, and risk management.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of managing client relationships and securing repeat business.
• A thorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, project schedules, and contract documentation.
• Experience with the implementation of innovative construction technologies such as BIM, Lean Construction, VDC, and integrated project delivery methods.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills suitable for high-level negotiation, presentations, and leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise construction management software platforms.
