Overview
This opportunity is for an experienced project electrician to join a Henderson-based crew working on electrical installation, upgrade, and refurbishment assignments across Auckland. The role suits someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, varied sites, and solving problems on the job, with projects spanning schools, commercial buildings, and residential properties.
Key Work Areas
- Carry out electrical installation work for new construction, refurbishment, and upgrade projects.
- Deliver project-based work across school, residential, and commercial environments.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
- Coordinate with site crews, contractors, and project managers to keep work moving smoothly.
- Complete all tasks to a safe, efficient, and high-quality standard.
- Troubleshoot issues on site and adjust to changing project needs.
What We Need
- A registered electrician holding a current New Zealand practising licence.
- Proven background in installation and project-focused electrical work.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or facilities settings.
- Confidence working from drawings and plans.
- A strong work ethic with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
- Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Work Environment
- Hourly pay of $45.
- Base location at the Henderson depot.
- Varied project assignments across Auckland sites.
- Reliable workflow with a long-established organisation.
