Progress and Reporting Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Progress and Reporting Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, along with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project progress, coordinating resources, and delivering accurate reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and compare planned progress against actual project timelines, identifying variances and associated risks while recommending recovery measures.
• Manage coordination of work sequencing involving contractors, materials, equipment, and manpower resources to ensure smooth operations.
• Generate comprehensive progress reports daily, weekly, and monthly, including KPIs and executive-level dashboards.
• Create and update advanced Excel spreadsheets, utilizing Power Query, Pivot Tables, and Power BI tools for data visualization.
• Conduct thorough data validation, identify trends, and forecast upcoming project phases based on analyzed data.
• Organize review meetings, track action items, and follow up with stakeholders to maintain project alignment.
• Ensure the accuracy and governance of reporting, escalating critical issues promptly when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in project progress tracking and reporting.
• Strong expertise in advanced Excel functions, Power Query, Pivot Tables, and Power BI dashboard creation.
• Proven ability to perform data validation, trend analysis, and forecasting effectively.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
