Production Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for managing and overseeing the operational team during assigned shifts to ensure efficient and safe production processes at our plant located in Quequén, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the operational team throughout the designated work shift.
• Monitor equipment and production process performance, promptly identifying deviations and implementing corrective measures.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and food safety standards within the production facility.
• Conduct shift-start meetings to facilitate effective information transfer between shifts.
• Perform plant walkthroughs to identify improvement opportunities, unsafe conditions, and operational inconsistencies.
• Record, analyze, and report management indicators to drive efficiency enhancements.
• Supervise work methodologies and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance department regarding interventions, scheduled shutdowns, and emergency responses.
• Manage personnel occurrences such as overtime, leaves, and shift changes.
• Actively promote a culture of safety, emphasizing prevention and visible leadership.

Technical Profile

• Technical or university education in Engineering—Mechanical, Electromechanical, Chemical, or Industrial fields.
• Proficiency with computer tools and management systems; SAP experience is favorable.
• Basic to intermediate English language skills are desirable.
