Product Designer

Role overview

This role sits within the product division of the Commercial Property Crew and is responsible for shaping the user experience across a flagship commercial property listings portal. As the sole designer, you will work closely with product and engineering partners to create experiences that are both high quality and commercially effective.

You will lead the design work from early discovery through to polished delivery, converting user research and business priorities into practical, impactful solutions. The role requires strong collaboration, iterative thinking, and the ability to balance creativity with delivery speed and technical feasibility.

What you will do

• Guide the design journey from research through to final execution, with a focus on user needs and business outcomes.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications for development handoff.
• Refine concepts based on user feedback, testing results, and quantitative insights.
• Maintain design quality and consistency by working within design systems, brand rules, and accessibility expectations.
• Work side by side with engineers and product managers to ensure accurate implementation and strong delivery.
• Use behavioural data and customer insight to measure impact and keep improving the experience.
• Contribute to design critiques, collaborate across functions, and support the growth of design practices and team culture.

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or a closely related design discipline, along with a relevant degree.
• A bachelor's qualification in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar field.
• A portfolio that clearly shows user-centred thinking across end-to-end design projects.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or comparable platforms.
• Background in user research and usability testing, with the ability to translate findings into design decisions.
• Capability to build wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Experience working in agile environments and partnering effectively with product and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility principles, and data-led design, plus exposure to AI tools that support delivery.
• Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as AI-assisted development workflows.
