Role Overview

The Product Designer will be tasked with crafting seamless, high-quality user experiences across BJAK's financial product offerings. This position requires collaboration with product managers and engineers to translate complex financial workflows into user-friendly, fast, and trustworthy interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute end-to-end product designs from initial ideas through to live implementation.
• Convert product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and refined interfaces.
• Design user experiences for a variety of financial products, including insurance, payments, claims, and investments.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems and reusable interface components.
• Work closely with engineering teams to guarantee design fidelity during development.
• Enhance usability with rapid iterative cycles informed by product data and user feedback.
• Ensure consistent design standards across mobile and web platforms.
• Continuously optimize interactions, accessibility, and product quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience designing digital products.
• A strong portfolio showcasing product-oriented thinking and superior visual design skills.
• Expertise with Figma and proficiency in interactive prototyping.
• In-depth knowledge of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design principles.
• Advanced understanding of information architecture and user flow design.
• Exceptional skills in visual design aspects including typography, spacing, layout, and interaction design.
• Ability to distill complex workflows into straightforward and intuitive user experiences.

Location and Language

The position is fully remote but requires candidates to be located within Germany. Applicants must be based there to qualify. English is the primary language for internal communication, so strong English skills are essential.
