It is expanding through acquiring estate agencies, combining recurring landlord portfolios with advanced technology to automate tenant management, payments, and property maintenance. By integrating AI solutions, Dwelly transforms traditional real estate agencies into efficient digital letting platforms within two months, enhancing user experience and operational productivity.
Our company is fast-growing, product-driven, backed by esteemed investors, and led by experts in real estate, technology, and operations.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Product Designer to lead the user experience across all Dwelly products—Tenant Find, Property Management, Payments, CRM—and the internal tools supporting our operations. This role demands a thorough understanding of our diverse users including tenants, landlords, maintenance contractors, and internal agents. You will design both external customer portals as well as internal agent-facing systems.
The existing products are functional MVPs; your mission will be to advance these by improving clarity, usability, and craftsmanship, especially within data-heavy and workflow-intensive systems. You will also help build foundational design elements including a shared design system, standardized patterns, and an efficient design process from scratch.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to garner insights from tenants, landlords, contractors, and internal users.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative user data into actionable design solutions.
- Champion user-centered design and usability throughout the organization.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and polished interfaces for both customer-facing and internal applications.
- Design intuitive layouts for complex, data-dense operational tools prioritizing clarity and efficiency.
- Oversee the design lifecycle from ideation and prototyping through to development-ready specifications and post-launch iteration.
- Ensure design consistency and quality across all product suites including communication portals.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to deliver feasible, elegant design solutions balancing speed and craftsmanship.
- Develop and maintain a shared design system, component library, and reusable UI patterns.
- Implement streamlined design workflows, documentation standards, and review processes suited to a growing, agile team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of product design experience with a portfolio that covers both complex operational software and consumer applications.
- Strong skills in interaction and visual design, systems thinking, and detailed-oriented craftsmanship.
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into user-friendly designs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping, including leveraging AI to accelerate design production.
- Experience with operational or B2B tool design focusing on workflow efficiency.
- Prior involvement in building a design system from the ground up.
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a commitment to quality.
Compensation & Culture
- Competitive salary package with equity options awarded based on performance and contribution to integration success.
