Position Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and zone the produce department effectively.
• Rotate stock regularly and inspect for expired or unsellable products.
• Make sure all merchandise is clearly signed and correctly priced.
• Comply with cold chain protocols including thermometer calibration and temperature logging to ensure product safety.
• Follow food handling, safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures precisely.
• Handle ordering, clearance sales, pricing adjustments, labeling, and flagging according to established procedures.
• Maintain a fully stocked department ready for daily business.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety standards consistently.
• Stock products, perform downstocking as needed, apply product protection, and organize shelving layouts including modular and flex modular setups.

Salary

The starting wage for this position is $16.45 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
