Job Summary

The Procurement Representative will support category management and participate in Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing activities focused on the Equipment Category. The position reports to a Procurement Manager in the Operational Excellence department. High performers have the opportunity to progress into leadership roles within procurement and supply chain at Ecolab.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and implement Total Delivered Cost sourcing methodologies to conduct sourcing initiatives.
• Collaborate with business partners and suppliers to evaluate pricing for tail spend equipment requests.
• Work with business sales teams to address inquiries related to suppliers, markets, materials, and services, offering alternatives when necessary.
• Communicate updates effectively to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the master data team to approve pricing adjustments as needed.
• Escalate equipment requests to the category manager based on volume and supplier mix.
• Manage processes essential for smooth procure-to-pay operations.
• Maintain communication with supply planning, business partners, and relevant departments to ensure purchasing requests adhere to service level agreements (SLAs).

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
• At least five years’ experience in master data, procurement, shared services, finance, supply chain operations, or closely related fields.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives concurrently.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Aptitude for quick learning.
• Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or progress toward one in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or Finance.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and project management experience.
• Experience using SAP or other source-to-pay platforms in procurement or shared services.
• Background in direct procurement sourcing or supply chain management.
• Experience working with equipment parts procurement.
