Job description
About Techary
Techary transforms how organisations procure, implement, and support technology by offering an innovative alternative to traditional Managed Service Provider and Value-Added Reseller models. Our ethos, "Technology, done differently," reflects our commitment to helping customers leverage technology that evolves alongside emerging innovations.
Our client base ranges from startups to global enterprises, working across diverse sectors such as financial trading and fintech headquarters relocation. We support scaling operations globally and enable projects critical to business transformation and success.
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-focused Procurement & Operations Coordinator to join our Singapore team. This versatile position involves handling procurement responsibilities alongside partner operations and logistics support throughout the APAC region. Situated within Techary's global Sales Operations, you will act as a vital link between APAC regional activities and the global organisation, ensuring cohesive processes, data integrity, and unified operational standards across all entities.
Collaborating closely with our Procurement & Operations team, you will gain exposure to the entire procurement lifecycle — from purchase ordering to order fulfilment — while providing essential backup coverage to maintain business continuity and swiftly address operational issues.
Our shared responsibility model means there is no single point of failure, rapid resolution of errors, and cross-functional knowledge sharing that bolsters teamwork and resilience within APAC.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order requests in accordance with Techary's procurement policies.
- Communicate with suppliers regionally and globally to confirm prices, availability, and delivery schedules across APAC markets.
- Monitor orders from confirmation through delivery, handling returns and RMAs as necessary.
- Respond to vendor inquiries, approve invoices, and resolve order fulfillment errors.
- Escalate and address procurement or delivery issues influencing business operations promptly.
- Keep procurement records up-to-date and maintain accurate supplier databases.
- Assist in generating procurement reports and basic spend analyses for the APAC area.
- Administer vendor and distributor portal access, including logins and troubleshooting.
- Track rebate claims, deal registrations, and compliance with certifications.
- Support partner program audits, documentation, and internal team needs.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipment bookings, returns, and tracking within APAC.
- Ensure adherence to customs, freight, and import/export documentation standards relevant to Singapore and nearby markets.
- Provide backup for warehouse duties such as receiving, packing, labeling, and inventory checking when required.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational errors across procurement, partner operations, and logistics.
- Lead root cause investigations and coordinate corrective actions for process issues.
- Offer dependable coverage for coworkers during absences or periods of increased workload.
- Maintain comprehensive handover notes and process documentation to facilitate smooth transitions across time zones.
- Collaborate with global cross-regional teams to guarantee uninterrupted operational functions.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years' experience in procurement, logistics, operations, or managing vendor/partner relationships.
- Strong independent problem-solving capabilities focusing on error resolution.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and switch between different operational areas.
- Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Mandarin or other regional languages is beneficial.
- Familiarity with order processing systems, vendor portals, and shipping platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of APAC supplier markets, regional logistics, and import/export procedures is advantageous.
Strengths and Core Values
- Collaborative team player working effectively across teams and time zones globally.
- Flexibility to engage with different workflows — procurement, partner operations, or logistics — as needed.
- Accountable individual taking ownership of operational issues with a positive and proactive mindset.
- Committed to continuous learning and helping enhance processes across operational functions.
- Shares knowledge to build broader understanding and reduce individual dependency within the team.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all documentation, data entry, and stakeholder communications.
- Results-driven, focused on meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work in a fast-paced international setting.
Benefits
- A family-oriented culture fostering teamwork to overcome challenges.
- Additional leave on your birthday.
- 22 paid vacation days annually.
- Healthcare insurance coverage.
- Sponsored learning and development courses including certifications like Microsoft and Cisco.
