Available Roles and Responsibilities

Pipe Layers

• Proven experience installing sewer, stormwater, and water mains.
• Capability to handle manual labor and repetitive tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
• Competency in shooting and reducing levels using a Dumpy level instrument.
• Ability to set up and operate pipe lasers.
• Skill in reading, interpreting, and understanding engineering plans and standards.
• Possession of confined space, quick cut, and front-end loader certifications is desirable.

Excavator Operators

• Experience operating excavators weighing over 20 tonnes.
• Knowledge and experience managing lifting operations safely.
• Capability to perform deep excavations effectively.
• Skill in working with shoring systems.
• Proficient in trenching, pipe placement, backfilling, and compaction tasks.

Foreman

• At least two years of prior experience as a Civil Drainage Foreman.
• Strong understanding of advanced civil pipework principles, particularly in residential subdivision environments involving deep sewer, stormwater, and water installation.
• Ability to manage adverse ground conditions expertly.
• Comprehensive familiarity with current Southeast Queensland standards.
• Dedication to occupational health and safety and safe work procedures.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with influence.
• Holding various plant machinery tickets is highly advantageous.
