Available Roles and Responsibilities
Pipe Layers
- Proven experience installing sewer, stormwater, and water mains.
- Capability to handle manual labor and repetitive tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- Competency in shooting and reducing levels using a Dumpy level instrument.
- Ability to set up and operate pipe lasers.
- Skill in reading, interpreting, and understanding engineering plans and standards.
- Possession of confined space, quick cut, and front-end loader certifications is desirable.
Excavator Operators
- Experience operating excavators weighing over 20 tonnes.
- Knowledge and experience managing lifting operations safely.
- Capability to perform deep excavations effectively.
- Skill in working with shoring systems.
- Proficient in trenching, pipe placement, backfilling, and compaction tasks.
Foreman
- At least two years of prior experience as a Civil Drainage Foreman.
- Strong understanding of advanced civil pipework principles, particularly in residential subdivision environments involving deep sewer, stormwater, and water installation.
- Ability to manage adverse ground conditions expertly.
- Comprehensive familiarity with current Southeast Queensland standards.
- Dedication to occupational health and safety and safe work procedures.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with influence.
- Holding various plant machinery tickets is highly advantageous.
