About the role
PawRun Kuwait operates the country’s first mobile dog treadmill exercise service, offering professional canine fitness sessions at clients’ locations in a fully air-conditioned van. The team is hiring a committed Dog Handler to support safe, well-organized exercise sessions for dogs across a range of breeds and sizes.
In this position, you will partner closely with the Driver to deliver a dependable, courteous, and caring service experience for both dogs and their owners.
What you will do
- Load, secure, and supervise dogs safely before, throughout, and after treadmill workouts.
- Run and observe the dog treadmills, modifying pace and incline according to each dog’s breed, age, and fitness condition.
- Watch for signs of tiredness, distress, or discomfort and take the right action when needed.
- Stay calm, approachable, and confident when handling dogs with different temperaments.
- Clean and disinfect the equipment and vehicle after each appointment.
- Record session details accurately and share relevant updates with pet owners.
- Comply with all animal welfare, health, and safety procedures at all times.
