Role Overview
The People Operations Partner plays a vital role in shaping and executing the strategy and operations related to People and Culture at OCHIN. This individual collaborates closely with leaders to align organizational goals with mission-driven values. They leverage innovative resources and practices to foster a culture that effectively adapts to new technologies, markets, and challenges, ensuring a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic and hands-on People and Culture Partner who understands the business thoroughly and ensures alignment of people strategies and programs with organizational objectives.
- Provide expert analysis and strategic guidance on daily operations and critical decisions related to People and Culture.
- Counsel employees and leaders on company policies, performance, workplace culture, and conflict resolution while minimizing legal risks.
- Participate in project-based initiatives essential to business strategy from a People and Culture standpoint.
- Monitor workplace trends proactively to enhance employee engagement and retention by addressing key issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and collaborate with legal counsel as needed; stay updated on relevant legislation affecting People and Culture policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combined education and experience in Human Resources, Business, or a related domain preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience in multiple People and Culture areas such as compensation, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and employment laws.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.
- Professional certification in People and Culture (SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all organizational levels.
- Skilled in data collection, analysis, and delivering actionable operational recommendations.
- Demonstrated success in implementing HR initiatives in dynamic, growing organizations.
- Self-directed, able to manage workload independently and collaborate within teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster collaboration and trust.
- Experience working in a multistate environment and flexibility to support needs outside regular hours.
- Effective coaching and influencing capabilities to help leaders navigate complex situations.
- Completion of a 50–60 minute competency assessment prior to team interview is required to evaluate alignment with core competencies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and customer service mindset with occasional decision-making and independent judgment.
- English language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk for prolonged periods, and utilize hands and arms regularly.
- Work requires participation in virtual meetings with camera use in a home-office environment.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices.
- Travel required for go-live installations or training sessions via air, vehicle, or train.
Work Environment and Travel
OCHIN operates entirely remotely with no physical corporate office. Employees work from home and may occasionally travel to member sites for software implementations. Travel is determined by business needs and discussed during the interview.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $85,697 to $137,116 annually. Final offers depend on qualifications including skills, certifications, education, experience, and market data.
