Job description
Role Overview
The Partnership Lead will be responsible for establishing and expanding a global network of partner relationships and developing innovative strategic initiatives that support or align with corporations, foundations, government bodies, bilateral agencies, and other collaborators. This position also involves supporting the Executive Director in managing engagement with the Board of Directors and existing partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture partner networks worldwide.
- Design and execute new strategic projects involving corporate, governmental, and international entities.
- Assist in maintaining strong connections between the Board, partners, and the organization.
- Work collaboratively with team members to diversify and enhance funding sources for both ongoing and new projects.
- Lead strategic dialogues with national and international stakeholders on conservation and organizational objectives.
- Prepare and present strategic partnership updates for leadership, the Board, and priority donors.
- Serve as the official spokesperson on partnership matters, managing both internal and external communications to increase visibility.
- Coordinate and oversee events such as partner gatherings, annual summits, and monthly prospect meetings.
- Implement comprehensive partnership strategies to broaden Tech4Dev's mission reach and impact.
- Manage financial reporting and oversight related to partnership activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, International Development, or a related discipline; Master's degree is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in partnerships, business development, or stakeholder engagement roles.
- Proven success in securing and managing complex multi-stakeholder partnerships within development or private sector settings.
- Strong negotiation abilities; established connections within the BPO sector or government entities are advantageous.
- Excellent skills in presenting, communicating, and crafting proposals.
- Adept at navigating both public and private sector environments.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Ability to map and engage stakeholders from government, business, and civil sectors effectively.
- Proficient in preparing partnership proposals and concept notes.
- Experience in overseeing relationships and tracking partner performance metrics.
- Capable of representing the organization and networking at industry events and forums.
