Overview
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking Propane Drivers for casual, short-term employment through the busy fall season in Brandon, Manitoba. This position offers a starting wage between $26 and $35 per hour based on experience, with the opportunity for extension. Training and work equipment are provided, and you will return home each night.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver propane locally while providing excellent customer service and a positive company image.
- Perform daily inspections before and after trips, keep track of hours worked, and use electronic logging systems to report any issues.
- Maintain company vehicles by ensuring preventative maintenance is conducted and addressing minor repairs as needed.
- Operate safely and in compliance with all relevant procedures, policies, and regulations.
Team Environment
You will be part of a team of drivers and service technicians reporting to the Supervisor of Propane Distribution, focusing on customer service, safety, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Customer Interaction
Deliver propane to customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic sectors while demonstrating professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Class 3A or Class 1A driver's license.
- Have at least one year of professional driving experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Comfortable using computers and electronic log systems.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as handling equipment weighing at least 50 pounds.
