Overview
This role involves overseeing and coordinating the operational processes within a video production environment. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of staff, schedules, vendors, and the day-to-day functioning of the studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily schedules of editors, camera crews, and support personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring all phases from video shooting to post-production including editing, color grading, and audio stay on schedule.
- Allocate tasks, supervise daily deliverables, and address any disruptions in workflows effectively.
- Serve as the main liaison for external service providers including freelance editors, camera operators, and other vendors.
- Convey project needs, modifications, and revisions to vendors clearly and promptly.
- Oversee vendor submissions, schedule adherence, invoicing processes, and conduct quality assurance checks.
- Manage daily operational and administrative activities of the studio or office environment.
- Supervise maintenance and inventory of studio equipment, storage devices, and office materials to ensure availability and upkeep.
- Perform administrative duties such as attendance management and facilitate communication across teams.
