Location and Work Hours

Work will be based at Radius Baycare, located at 361 Puketona Rd, Haruru Falls, Paihia. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.

Role Overview

This demanding and dynamic position involves assisting the Facility Manager with various administrative tasks including payroll management, recruitment support, record maintenance, and minute-taking. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proactivity in resolving daily inquiries and strive to ensure a consistently positive experience for all customers interacting with the facility. Prior experience in aged care, financial administration, payroll systems, and HR processes will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative activities including financial record keeping, reporting, and preparing admission documentation.
  • Handle reception duties, manage telephone communications, welcome clients and visitors, and efficiently address inquiries.
  • Promote the services of Radius Residential Care, conduct facility tours, and maintain an updated inquiries database.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, and client comfort funds with accuracy.
  • Maintain both electronic and paper records, ensure residents' databases are current, and support accurate reporting obligations.
  • Assist the Facility Manager with human resources tasks such as recruitment, orientation, payroll, and staff rostering.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits related to the facility's operations.

  • Welcoming, patient, and personable with excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor.
  • Effective and clear communicator across diverse groups including visitors, staff, residents, and their families.
  • Highly organised, resourceful, adaptable, and reliable with strong time management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
