Network Engineer

Overview

The Network Engineer position involves managing the daily functions of network and firewall systems to ensure the IT infrastructure remains stable and operates efficiently. This role works closely with various teams both internally and from external organizations, providing a valuable chance to gain hands-on experience within a systematic enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup, configuration, and upkeep of network and firewall devices and software.
• Observe network and firewall system performance, diagnose problems, and assist in resolving service interruptions.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, system updates, and security patching on network components.
• Manage LAN and WAN operations to maintain uninterrupted connectivity across company locations.
• Keep thorough records of network configurations, modifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Liaise effectively with internal teams as well as external suppliers and partners.
• Manage and update inventory logs of all network and firewall equipment under the Network Team.
