Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Murex System Integration Testing (SIT) Analyst to contribute to a global financial services initiative. This role involves leading the end-to-end system integration testing for trading and settlement platforms, ensuring complete synchronization across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office systems.
Key Duties
- Create and implement detailed SIT strategies, including test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Carry out functional, regression, smoke, and comprehensive end-to-end testing across different environments.
- Engage closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to grasp business needs and develop appropriate test scenarios.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production verification phases.
- Use SQL queries to verify market data feeds, financial instruments, and transaction records.
- Identify, log, monitor, and help resolve defects through tools like JIRA or other defect tracking systems.
- Participate actively in test reviews, walkthroughs, and quality assurance sign-offs.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, compliance guidelines, and industry best practices in testing.
- Provide frequent updates regarding testing status, results, and related metrics.
Required Experience and Knowledge
- A minimum of 8 years of IT experience with over 5 years dedicated to supporting Murex MX.3.
- Expertise managing multiple Murex environments within large enterprise banking settings.
- Thorough understanding of Murex architecture and deployment processes.
- Proven hands-on experience with SIT and UAT phases.
- Strong aptitude in SQL for backend data verification.
- Experience utilizing JIRA or comparable defect and test management software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software testing principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery models
- Familiarity with automation testing tools or frameworks
- ISTQB certification or equivalent testing credential
